How do I restart my business after lockdown ?

open for business

It’s so easy as business owners to feel a sense of paralysis at this time, life feels as if it is literally on hold for all of us. But, and it is a big BUT, we have to plan for the future to ensure our businesses survive and our employees have jobs to return to when this is over.  A part of that planning is looking to the future when you can reopen your doors, restart your business and get back to work.

We have heard a lot in the press about the types of businesses which might be scheduled for opening first and some of them will be service based businesses such as Hairdressers, Beauty and health therapists such as Physiotherapists and Chiropractors (amongst many others).

It is very likely that these businesses will be overwhelmed as we all wish to visit at the same time. So how do you manage the process to make it less chaotic so you don’t have to turn people away?

You'll already be aware that over the period of the lockdown your customers would have had many appointments booked in with you and we’re sure you are keen to pick these up as you reopen, rather than waiting for them to call you why don’t you get ahead of the game and call them? >

After all great customer service is about anticipating their needs.

Here at The Virtual Business Centre we can help. We can help you actively market for appointments once we have a clearer idea of opening dates but right now we can help get you ready by:

  • Creating and managing an online booking system
  • Using outbound email marketing to your customer  base to get them thinking about using your services and finally, once we have dates:
  • Taking incoming calls for you and booking appointments so you can get on with getting back to what you do best
